Sweet, Simple Saturday

I am so thankful for God's word.  I need it, I want it.  In it there is guidance, refuge, strength, hope, and life.

"When we pray, we talk to God; but when we read His Word, He talks to us.  As our listening skills improve, so do our conversation skills."
~ Joy P. Gage

Have a blessed weekend!

  1. I LOVE old weathered buildings like this, always stopping at the most inconvenient times and places to snap a picture. And these words, they're life and enduring.

    Sending love.

  3. Perfect faded image of life; a season and a shelter, once robustly vital now dimmed with time. Stark visual contrast to our Lord's living word. and a welcome reminder.

  14. As our listening skills improve so does our conversation....SO true. We must learn to listen and pay attention to the NON verbal...one is saying.

  15. I love photos of little houses like this. I have started collecting and taking (so amateur of me ;-) pictures of abandoned houses like this one. I think they tell a story and I always wonder what that story was.
